The Government has announced names of 13 eminent personalities for Ekushey Padak 2009 in recognition of their outstanding contributions in respective fields.
The award comprises Taka 40,000 in cash, a gold medal weighing three tolas and a citation, said a press release of the ministry for Cultural Affairs yesterday. [Read more]
