Salauddin Qader Chodhury, MP of BNP said yesterday that the government should view the proposals for TIFA and transit agreement with caution so that the country’s economic and security interests are not compromised.
Addressing a discussion meeting at the National Press Club as chief guest he said transit to India should be viewed against the non-fulfillment of the terms of the border agreement of 1973 and the Ganges water sharing treaty or 1996. [Read more]
