Increase of electricity production, formulation of acceptable coal policy and new gas field exploration are the main challenges for the next elected government in energy sector here, experts said.
The previous governments could not achieve remarkable progress in energy sector due to their indecisions, foreign dependency, financial limitation, corruption and bureaucratic complexities in energy and power sector, they added.
