The homebound passengers were seen yesterday rushing to the city’ bus and launch terminals and railway stations at the last moments to reach their village homes for celebrating the ‘ Eid-ul- Azha’ festival with their near and dear ones tomorrow.
People of different ages had to wait for hours at Mohakhali, Sayeedabad, Gabtali bus and Sadarghat launch terminals and Kamalapur, Cantonment and Airport railway stations to avail buses and trains.
The rush of the homebound passengers to different terminals was striking the evident in the capital yesterday as the 3-day government holiday for the Eid festival today. [Read more]
