Prof. M A Matin of Statistics Department and Prof. M Shamsul Alam Selim of Government and Politics Department of Jahangirnagar University were elected president and Secretary respectively of Jahangirnagar University Teachers Association (JUTA) unopposed.
Election Commissioner of JUTA Prof. Mirza Mofiz Uddin declared the result Saturday.
Other office bearers are: Syed Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan of Archeology Department- Vice president, Sattyajit Kumar Saha of the Mathematics Department-Treasurer, Aniruddh Kahali of Bangla Department -Joint Secretary. [Read more]
