A terrorist leader was killed and three policemen were wounded in a shootout between polic and his accomplices at Karshakariel village in Kishoregonj Sadar upazila yesterday. The deceased was identified as Badal Mia,34, chief of infamous Badal Bahini.
Earlier, police arrested Badal, who was wanted in a number of cases, from Karshakariel Bazar Tuesday morning.
On the day of his arrest Badal stabbed a village policeman grievously. Later, during his arrest he also injured three other policemen. [Read more]
