Rajshahi University Vice Chancellor Prof. Mamnunul Keramat was confined at his office for five hours by third and fourth class employees who pressed for implementation of their three-point demand that include regularization of jobs.
The two other demands of the employees include payment of dearness allowance and Eid bonus. Employees of 544 series at first met with Student Affairs Adviser Prof. Faridul Islam Pintu and Proctor Prof. Enamul Haque at about 11:30am to know the fate of their demands.
Failing to receive any assurance from the two teachers, the employees met with the VC at noon. [Read more]
