Reviving cases against govt servants: ACC to open ‘Pandora’s box’

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is going to revive about 3,000 pending allegations and complaints including 1,049 cases filed between 1986 and 2007 against government officials and employees.
A total of 1,914 complaints lodged between 1989 and 2007 and 1,049 cases filed from 1986 to 2007 against government officials and employees have recently been brought under investigation.
ACC Director General (Administration) Col Hanif Iqbal Chowdhury disclosed this while briefing reporters yesterday.
Of the complaints, 1,801 were received during the Bureau of Anti-Corruption and 113 by the ACC. [Read more]
