A central leader of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal died yesterday at the Apollo Hospital in the city. He fell from a moving truck on Thursday and was injured in an attack on pro reformist faction of the BNP in front of the BSMMU on September 3.
The victim was identified as Alauddin, Joint General Secretary of Central Jubo Dal and general secretary of Comilla District (Sadar).
A JCD press release said on Thursday Alauddin fell down from a vehicle on the road and was critically injured, when the BNP workers gathered in front of the party office just before the arrival of Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia at 4:00pm. [Read more]
