About 65 children out of one thousand die every year and 26.4 percent are suffering from moderate malnutrition while 16.7 per cent severely, said speakers at a function yesterday.
They said that nearly 22 per cent children born with less weighted and ratio of providing breast-feeding to them up to six months is only 37 per cent.
Only 71 per cent mother in the urban areas and 46 per cent in the rural areas could get services from the trained health representatives, they added. [Read more]
