Shab-e-Barat tonight

The holy Shab-e-Barat will be observed across the country tonight with due religious fervour.
Muslim men, women and children will offer special prayers and recite the holy Quran throughout the night seeking divine blessings for themselves and for the Muslim Ummah.
They will also visit the graves of their relatives and Muslim saints overnight and distribute homemade sweet food items and alms among the poor, and exchange sweetmeat with neighbours, friends and relatives. [Read more]
