A court of Dhaka yesterday refixed August 31 for charge hearing in the August 21 murder case in connection with the grenade attack at Bangabandhu Avenue in 2004.
Besides the 8 fugitives in the case, other accused including former Deputy Minister Abdus Salam Pintu, Harkatul Jehad leader Mufti Hannan were produced before the court. Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Second Court of Dhaka, K M Rasheduzzaman Raja heard both sides and passed the order refixing the date.
The grenade attack was made on a rally of Bangladesh Awami League at Bangabandhu Avenue on August 21, 2004. [Read more]
