The High Court yesterday extended till July 31 the ad-interim anticipatory bail granted to Dhaka City Corporation Mayor Sadek Hossain Khoka in a graft case filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission.
Passing the order, a division bench comprising Justice Sharif Uddin Chaklader and Emdadul Haque Azad also extended the stay on the case proceedings till July 31.
On July 7, the same bench granted the Dhaka Mayor the interim bail till July 16 and stayed the case proceedings until then (July 16). [Read more]
