At least 30 garment workers, including females, were injured in clashes with policemen in Mirpur area of the city yesterday morning.
Witnesses said the workers of SQ Garment Factory took to the street and staged demonstrations to press for a raise in their salaries at about 8:00am.
Soon, workers of the adjoining garment factories also joined in the agitation.
