The government is going to announce a Tk 99,961 crore nation budget for the fiscal 2008-09 tomorrow (Monday), which is Tk 6,000 crore bigger than the revised budget for the current fiscal and heavily dependent on domestic borrowing and foreign assistance.
The new budget, which will also be the largest in the history of Bangladesh, will be announced by Finance and Planning Adviser Dr AB Mirza Azizul Islam through radio and television. [Read more]
