Unidentified attackers stabbed two police constables and snatched a shotgun from a police patrol in Gazipur yesterday morning.
A 30-men strong gang attacked the policemen on Dhaka-Tangail Highway to the north of Konabari in the district, police said.
The wounded constables are Nayeb Ali, 56, and Mosharraf Hossain, 50. Ali is in critical condition. They were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
