Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) seized 66 vehicles and filed case against 714 vehicles under Motor Vehicle Ordinance-1983 during a special drive from February 26 to March 3 across the capital city.
BRTA officials disclosed this at a press conference at its head office yesterday. They informed that the Motor Vehicle Ordinance-1983 would be extensively amended very soon and a draft proposal of amendment has already been sent to the Communication Ministry.
