Listed terrors Sanjedul Islam Imon and Ishaq Ali returned from India on Friday were given to 8-day police remand when produced before the court yesterday.
CID Inspector Shyamol Chowdhury producing them to the metropolitan judicial magistrate and prayed for the remand.
The terrors who had fled to India following crackdown on terrorism last year were held by Kolkata police and handed over to CID police at Benapole border in presence of the border security forces of the two countries.
Imon and Ishaq in their early 30s were wanted in about 15 criminal cases including murder and extortion. [Read more]
