“The economy of the country has slowed down due to the Anti Corruption drive against businessmen. We want a free and fair election to establish democracy to make the national economy vibrant,” said Hossain Khaled, President of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) at a press briefing on “Golden Jubilee Celebration” at its auditorium yesterday.
The DCCI was also seizing the opportunity to commemorate the 400th years of declaration of Dhaka as a capital city. A documentary on Dhaka’s transition (gradual development of commercial Dhaka) was shown in the function. [Read more]
