The government Wednesday gave green signal to the mill owners to re-fix price of edible oil every 15 days considering the international market price of the commodity.
“We have to consider the interest of businessmen, too, alongside the consumer’s interest,” Commerce Adviser Dr Hossain Zillur Rahman told newsmen after a high profile meeting at the ministry conference room.
“We also have to consider the ‘issues’ relating to the uninterrupted supply of the commodity,” the adviser said replying to a question. [Read more]
