Just released BNP leader Brig Gen (Retd) ASM Hannan Shah was rearrested last night from his DOHS residence at Mohakhali in the city within twenty-five hours of his release in an extortion case filed with Kapasia Police Station under Gazipur District.
Kapasia Thana police-led by Officer In-charge (OC) Moqbul Hossain Mollah arrested him in assistance with DMP police at about 9:00pm as one Morshed Mollah, a sub-contractor filed an extortion case yesterday against him for extortion of Tk 1,00,000 from the plaintif. [Read more]
