Eleven diplomats from EU countries led by EC delegation head Ambassador Dr Stefan Frowein visited various development projects in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
They visited UNDP run CHT Development Facilities and social development project jointly run by the CHT Development Board and FAO.
The diplomats also exchanged views at a meeting with heads of local institutions on how to expand development activities in the region. CHT Regional Council chairman Jyotirindra Bodhipriya Larma alias Shantu Larma chaired the meeting. Rangamati DC Nurul Amin was also present. [Read more]
