Middle Eastern countries are facing difficulties to handle foreign workers as they are protesting for better pay packages and adequate facilities. Over 1,200 workers, from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka, of a major construction company in Bahrain went on strike demanding wage increase and other facilities.
Besides, the Indian government has fixed a new Bahrain Dinars 100 (US$265) minimum basic monthly wage for unskilled Indian workers in the Gulf with effect from next month. [Read more]
