The Council of Advisers Committee on Public Purchase yesterday approved a tender of Tk 154 crore for the construction of jetty, RCC yard, marshalling yard and river bank protection of Pangaon Inland Container River Terminal (ICRT).
The committee also approved import of 30,000 tons of rock phosphate for the TSP Complex and the freight charges for importing 50,000 tons of urea fertiliser from the UAE.
Advisers of the caretaker government and senior officials concerned were present at the meeting held at the Planning
Ministry with Finance and Planning Adviser Dr AB Mirza Azizul Islam in the chair. [Read more]
