BNP Secretary General Khondaker Delwar Hossain yesterday said no election would be acceptable keeping BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and Awami League Chief Sheikh Hasina in jail.
“Both the leaders have been imprisoned with a view to keeping them away from the forthcoming general elections. But any polls will not be accepted with them behind bars,” he said while addressing a view exchange meeting with lawyers at Dhaka District Lawyers Association’s office in old part of the capital.
