The High Court Division of the Supreme Court yesterday started delivering judgment following conclusion of the hearing on a writ petition filed by detained former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina challenging the legality of her ongoing trial under the emergency power rules.
The Division Bench comprising Justice Shah Abu Nayeem Mominur Rahman and Justice Shahidul Islam began delivering the verdict upon the writ petition after the conclusion of arguments by the lawyers on behalf of the Government and the petitioner’s sides.
