Khandaker Abdur Razzaque, former News Editor of The New Nation died at 8:45pm last night at his Badda residence in the city (Inna Ilaihe…..Rajeun).
Family sources said he fell unconscious as he was taking food and breathed his last within seconds. He was 70.
Khandaker Abdur Razzaque worked in The New Nation from January 1, 1995 to November 29, 2007 and served as its News Editor from January 15, 2006.
He started his career in the erstwhile Morning News as a Reader in 1958. He also worked for the Daily News, the Dainik Janapad and the Dainik Millat. [Read more]
