An employee of state-owned Titas Gas Company who earned about $100 per month has property worth $145-million, made by illegal means during his 12 years employment, an official from the law enforcement agencies said
“It is a theft of unimaginable scale,” said the head of the government’s anti-corruption body, Col Hasan.
Abdul Kader Mollah, as the man was identified, is a former sales assistant with the Titas Gas Distribution Company who made illicit cash by undercharging thousands of factories before leaving his job in 1997. [Read more]
