In a groundbreaking move the incumbent caretaker government Tuesday initiated practical steps towards dialogue with political parties to resolve knotty issues ahead of parliamentary polls.
Newly appointed Food and Health Advisor MM Shawkat Ali made a phone call to Awami League presidium member Begum Matia Chowdhury at around 12 noon and sought to know about Awami League’s stance on the proposed talks.
