Prosecution yesterday sought a 7-day remand against BNP’s Senior Joint Secretary General Tareque Rahman in Gulshan Thana’s extortion case No. 103(3) 07 to quiz the detained accused Tareque, elder son of former Primer Minister Khaleda Zia.
The date for remand hearing in presence of the accused has not been declared till writing this report. Meanwhile, the court yesterday received four bail bonds submitted on behalf of BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Tareque Rahman.
