The classes of Dhaka University will resume today after Eid-ul-Azha, Christmas and winter vacation.
However, classes will be held keeping four teachers and eight students of the university in jail.
The detainees were supposed to be freed before resumption of the classes as per government promise but the situation remained unchanged.
On the first day of the reopening of the university, some teachers and students will wear black badges to press home for the release of the detained teachers and the students. [Read more]
