City AL to mobilise public support to release Hasina

The city committee of Awami League urged the Caretaker Government to ensure proper treatment of detained party Chief Sheikh Hasina and withdrawal of ‘false and fabricated’ cases against her.
Alongside the legal means, the meeting called for formulating various organisational programmes to mobilise public opinion for her release.
This was urged at a meeting at the party office at Bangabandhu Avenue in the city yesterday where City AL acting President MA Aziz presided over. [Read more]
