The Judicial Service Commission is considering to appoint 391 judicial magistrates by February next with a view to increasing the strength in the judiciary.
“The process to appoint the judicial magistrates is under process. We do hope that we will be able to appoint 391 judicial magistrates by February,” Supreme Court Registrar Mohammad Iktedar Ahmed said this while addressing an opinion exchange meeting with the district judges and their equivalent judicial officials held at the conference room of the Judicial Administration Training Institute (JATI) in the city yesterday.
