India will observe Bangladesh’s Victory Day. A group of 18-member freedom fighters led by Maj Gen (Retd) Imam-Uz-Zaman left for Kolkata on December 14 to join the Indian Army on observance of the Victory Day at Fort William, Headquarters of Eastern Command of the Indian Army.
Other freedom fighters include Col (Retd) Abu Osman Choudhury, Sector Commander, Ali Zaker, Sara Zaker and Bulbul Mahalanobis.
The celebration will be held from December 14 to 16 and includes a tattoo and military band display, a cultural programme and Bara Khana with the Indian Army troops on December 14 to 16. [Read more]
