The chief justice has said national identity cards are crucial to citizens, which is why the ongoing voter registration should be carried out with care and sincerity.
“The nation expects proper voter lists as a prerequisite to holding free and fair elections,” Md Ruhul Amin said Friday.
“The national identity cards too are also important to the citizens of the country.”
He made the remark to reporters after volunteering necessary information to the field enumerators visiting at his Hare Road home in the morning to fill out voter information sheets. [Read more]
