The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) yesterday recorded the statement of Awami League president and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in connection with the August 21 grenade attack on her rally at Bangabandhu Avenue in 2004.
A 3-member CID team recorded the statement of detained AL president Sheikh Hasina for about four hours from at about 12 noon at the sub-jail gate set up at the Jatiya sangsad Bhaban premises.
Hasina who luckily escaped the grenade attack on her rally at Bangabandbu Avenue on August 21, 2004 suffered serious ear injury caused by the grenade blasts. [Read more]
