Veteran language hero Abdul Matin urged the caretaker government to give permission for celebrating the 50 years of the historic Kagmari Conference.
He was speaking at a press conference organised by the National Committee for Celebration of 50 years of Kagmari Conference at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity yesterday.
Criticising the government decision for not allowing the holding of the three-day long conference, which was scheduled to be held from November 15 to November 17 at Santosh of Tangail, Abdul Matin, also the president of the celebration committee announced the new celebration schedule beginning from February 9 of the next year.
