CEC leaves for Bangkok: No commissioner at EC now

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dr ATM Shamsul Huda, along his wife Nilufar Huda left Dhaka for Thailand’s capital Bangkok by Thai Airways yesterday.
It is the CEC’s private visit. He will stay in Bangkok for five days. He is scheduled to returns to Dhaka on November 11 and inaugurate the voter list preparation work in Manikganj on the following day. However, he did not talk to the media before his departure for Bangkok at about 1:30pm yesterday.
As two election commissioners left for London earlier, there is no election commissioner at the Election Commission now. [Read more]
