Former President and founder of BNP Ziaur Rahman and Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) leader Col (Retd) Taher were involved in the conspiracy of killing Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members, said Col (Retd) Rashid, one of the convicts of death sentence in Bangabandhu murder case, yesterday.
In an interview with Grameenphone-Tritio Matra, he said Major General Ziaur Rahman, the then deputy chief of staff, had called him to his office before the killing of Bangabandhu on August 15, 1975.
