Body of a private bank official has been recovered by police from Sheraton Hotel in the city.
Police is investigating whether the official was murdered or he himself committed suicide. Ramna Police said they recovered the body of Riz Thakur, senior officer of Mohakhali branch of Prime Bank Ltd. His wife claimed the death as murder.
According to police, Riz Thakur got into the Suite No. 507 of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel at night on November 1. He was a resident of Green Villa, Flat No. B-3, House No. 41, Road No. 123, Gulshan. Earlier, he booked the suite for three days. [Read more]
