Adviser for Information and Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Barrister Mainul Hosein yesterday called upon the journalists’ community to play their responsible role to overcome the present crisis. They should exercise self-censorship.
“We do not want to impose any censorship on the media at the moment as we have full faith and confidence in you (journalists). We expect that you will not write or broadcast such reports or comments that might create obstacles to overcome the present crisis,” he said while exchanging views with reporters at the conference room of the Information Ministry.
