The Caretaker Government on Tuesday “deeply regreted” the Dhaka University incidents and ordered withdrawal of the Army camp from the campus by Wednesday, an official handout said here on Tuesday.
Chief Adviser of the Caretaker Government Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed chaired a high-level meeting in his office to review the situation arising out of disturbances occurring in Dhaka University since Monday evening, it said.
