Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dr ATM Shamsul Huda on Tuesday apprised President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed that the Election Commission is implementing the activities of its roadmap for holding the national elections in 2008.
The CEC called on the President at the Bangabhaban and apprised him of the Commission’s different activities, said a press release.
Election commissioners Mohammad Sohul Hossain and Brig Gen (Retd) M Sakhawat Hossain accompanied the CEC. The CEC said various measures have already been taken for making the election process transparent and accountable. [Read more]
