Awami League and its 14-party alliance partners yesterday paid glowing tributes to memories of martyrs of the August 21 grenade atacks marking the gruesome incident’s 3rd anniversary.
Miscreants launched the ghastly grenade atacks on a rally of the Awami League (AL) on this day (August 21) in 2004 in front of its Bangabanhdu Avenue headquater, party President and the then Leader of the Opposition in Parliament Sheikh Hasina was delivering her concluding speech, leaving at least 22 people killed on the day and injuring hundreds others.
