Demanding same facilities, which are enjoyed by BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, for his party Chief Sheikh Hasina to talk with her relatives abroad through teleconference from her prison, Acting Awami League President Zillur Rahman yesterday said his party would not take part in the Election Commission’s proposed dialogue on electoral reform without withdrawal of embargo on indoor politics.
He, however, said his party has no reservation about the dialogue before the preparation of the voters’ list if the state of emergency is withdrawn. [Read more]
