Dist leaders asked not to join talks with EC: BNP will take refuge of law if Khaleda arrested

Member of the BNP Advisory Council Brigadier General (retd) ASM Hannan Shah yesterday said his party would take refuge of law if its Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia is arrested for any reason.
“All the governments, including the present one, can take any action against anybody of the country. The action may not be justified or otherwise,” he said, adding that the former Prime Minister had directed them earlier that the party would move the court if she is arrested. [Read more]
