Asking Chhatra Dal workers to stand by the flood affected people unitedly, BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia expressed the hope that she would be able to meet them after the withdrawal of embargo on politics.
She regreted that she herself could not be physically present among the deluge victims due to the state of emergency but she was always with them.
The former Prime Minister said this at the dead of night on Thursday while talking to leaders and workers of Jahangir Nagar Unversity unit of the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the students’ wing of the BNP, through a teleconference. [Read more]
