Within a short time, the Anti-corruption Commission (ACC) would send a leter to the Cabinet Secretary for taking steps so that all the government employees submit their wealth statement to the respective directorate.
Talking to the newsmen yesterday, ACC Secretary Mokhlesur Rahman said, “ACC Chairman Lt Gen (retd) Hasan Mashhud Chowdhury is going to write to the Cabinet Secretary so that the wealth statement of government employees is updated every year.”
“It’s already in the service rules. The chairman is just going to remind so that it is obeyed”, the ACC Secretary said. [Read more]
