About 100 employees and 10 policemen were injured in clashes between the employees of two garment factories) and security guards and police yesterday at the export processing zone under Ashulia thana.
During the clashes, the angry workers damaged at least 10 buses used to transport employees and staged demonstration inside the DEPZ. Chase and counter chase also took place among them. Among the policemen, Additional Police Super Nazmul Hossain, Savar Circle SP Matiur Rahman and SI Abdul Ali were injured seriously. [Read more]
