Formally launching the preparation of the voters’ list with photograph and national ID card from Rajshahi City Corporation area, Chief Adviser Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed yesterday said there was no room for any confusion and controversy over holding the general elections within December 2008, the declared timeframe.
Terming the day a milestone in the history of the country’s democratic advancement, he referred to the roadmap announced by the Election Commission (EC) for holding the parliamentary elections. [Read more]
